Great to be part of the Jerwood Drawing Prize Exhibition 2016 in its promotion and celebration of the breadth of contemporary art practice.
Shortlisted for National Drawing Prize.
A friend spotted this cutting in a local newspaper the other day about my drawing being shortlisted for The Jerwood Drawing Prize exhibition 2016. I’m looking forward to going up to London next week for the Private View on the 13th September when the prizes will be announced. The exhibition starts on the 14th September at The Jerwood Space, London.
Exciting news.

The ‘meet the artist’ event on Saturday went really well. A number of sales of work already and the cards and homemade Somerset Charcoal proving popular too.

less than a week to go.
With less than a week to go I have been making my final checks and gathering all my pieces together ready to go.
Only a month to go!
It stuck me today that there is only a month to go until the first day of my exhibition. Preparations are going well and this week I placed an order for some cards that will be available to purchase there.
Still in the studio
As preparations for my exhibition are coming together, I have continued to work in my studio making some new pieces of work that I hope to include.
